The Cleveland Steelers are excited to announce that they are entering into an official corporate partnership with Everyone Active ahead of the 2025/26 season.
As part of this new collaboration, the Steelers will host all National Basketball League (NBL) home fixtures at the Eston Leisure Centre, the state-of-the-art venue with over 1,100 seats, located in the heart of Cleveland.
Head Coach Thomas Robinson shared his excitement about the move:
“It was a no-brainer for the Steelers to be based here in the heart of Cleveland, just a stone’s throw away from where the iconic steelworks once stood. Eston Sports Centre offers unrivaled facilities, ample parking, and seating options that make it the premier venue in the area. The venue is also rich in basketball history – myself and many players before me have had the privilege of playing in front of passionate crowds here. It truly feels like we’ve come home.”
The Steelers are dedicated to delivering affordable, high-quality basketball to the Cleveland community, providing a game-day experience that stands out in the league.
Both Everyone Active and the Cleveland Steelers share a commitment to not only showcasing National League basketball but also to growing grassroots participation across the region. Gary Hamilton from Everyone Active expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership:
"Everyone Active is thrilled to welcome the Cleveland Steelers to Eston Leisure Centre, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both the club and our community. This partnership is a testament to our ongoing commitment to investing in facilities, programs, and local talent. We look forward to supporting the Steelers as they bring thrilling basketball action to our centre, while continuing to foster growth, development, and inclusivity in sports for all”
Throughout 2025 we aim to introduce grassroots basketball sessions across all Everyone Active sites in the Teesside area, creating a network of aspiring talent and participation.
The 2025/26 season promises to be an exciting one, and the Steelers are eager to welcome fans to what will be an unforgettable season of National League basketball at Eston Sports Centre.
